Introducing…Planners On Purpose!

by Jul 24, 2020

You may have already guessed that there is a little bit of change going on around here. And if you have, you’ve guessed right. The former website of Planitonapostit has leveled up and is now Planners on Purpose. This has taken some time to finally happen, and I’m very excited about the new name, and everything else that is in store.

I’ve talked about more of this on the podcast this week, check out the special announcement above  to hear me talk about this live.

How did Planners on Purpose Happen?

I’ve really enjoyed writing and podcasting under the Planitonapostit, name. I loved the name, thought it was clever, but the more I created, I realized that the name didn’t represent where I wanted to go.  What used to be me writing about different areas of event planning reflecting my scattered thoughts was now shaping into what was really on my heart to put out in the world. And that was Planners on Purpose.

So you may be asking, what is Planners on Purpose and how will it be different?

Planners on Purpose is literally an overflow of my personal journey of over 24+ years in the event industry. I’ve been through ups and downs, highs and lows, have broken myself over my work and this has affected all aspects of my well being. Every time I fall, I have managed to get back up with a renewed purpose and learnings that can only come through tough situations. And now, I want to empower other event planners to come into their purpose.

Is Planners on Purpose for You?

Planners on Purpose will be focused on empowering you to stress less and live more, and through the power and journey of self-discovery. Event planning is one of the most stressful jobs in the world, and it doesn’t have to be. Like you, event planners love what they do, but they are either doing too much of it, or are being placed in high pressured situations too often. Planners on Purpose will help you become a more confident, less-exhausted, version of yourself.

What’s next?

So I can’t wait to walk through this journey with you. It’s a journey of a lifetime, where we ensure that we are paying attention to all aspects of our well being. Choosing to live fuller, be healthier, and be ever so intentional. No longer will event planning be a source of discontent. You will be able to walk through the high pressure moments of our lives with more poise and confidence. Join me in this journey.

So what do you think of the new name and new direction? I would love to hear your thoughts. Again, appreciate you joining me on this journey!
