2015 is Here! Happy New Year!

by Jan 1, 2015

Happy New Year!  Yes, we’ve made it to a new year. 2015 is here, waiting with open arms, and no expectations. No matter how much you want to stop time to think about the new year, and your approach, time keeps moving forward and the new year is in full swing. Do you make new year resolutions? Or do you live on the wild side, waiting to see what the year will bring you? As for me, I get excited about a fresh start, a time to create new goals, gain clarity on my vision for myself, and the newness that January brings. How exhilarating it is to be able to start anew with a clean slate and having the sky be your limit.

Of course, all goals are subject to “life”, right? Life has its way of interrupting and revising our set goals. Although we have to remain open to our life’s natural direction, having goals and plans help give us vision to see ahead to our intended destination. So, what about your event planning world? Do you have goals for your event planning organization? Goals for yourself as an event planner? If not, perhaps a little goal-setting would do the trick. This year, try creating a simple plan, that can aid you and help you are thrown off-course. Consider it a simple road map. Check out my post called Getting Ahead of the New Year, to help you with your 2015 goal planning.
