Why Consider Getting Your CMP?

You’ve been thinking about earning your CMP…
but between deadlines, vendor calls, client demands, and your actual life, two things keep getting pushed to the bottom of the list:

Studying… and feeling confident about studying.

You’re not alone.
Event professionals are some of the busiest, most capable people in the industry — and also the most stretched.

That’s exactly why this program was created.

Imagine stepping into your exam knowing you’re prepared — not panicked.

Why do most planners struggle to get the CMP?

Planners don’t struggle because they’re not smart.
They struggle because:

*The required material is overwhelming
*Life is already busy
*Studying alone is… well… studying alone
*And “I’ll get to it next week” turns into months

The CMP Study Experience helps you move forward with structure, support, and a steady, calming learning environment that makes the journey actually manageable.

What the CMP Means for You

The CMP designation is one of the most respected achievements in the events industry.
It represents:

  • Professional excellence

  • Credibility with clients & leadership

  • Greater earning potential

  • Industry-wide recognition

  • Confidence in your expertise

  • A competitive edge in your career

And for many of my students, it’s the milestone that finally makes them feel seen and validated in their work.

Introducing the CMP Study Experience

A five-week guided system designed to help event professionals

prepare with clarity and confidence.

You have two ways to join:

After not passing the CMP exam on my first attempt, joining Naomi’s study group was incredibly beneficial. The group offered a thorough overview of the required texts, and having Naomi and Danniel (another participant) there to delve deeper into the domains and discuss our questions and challenges significantly enhanced my understanding of the material. I truly believe that participating in this study group played a crucial role in my success in passing the exam.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to attend the live sessions?

No, however if you have invested in the life session, they are such a great resource for you. The live sessions are encouraged for maximum support, but not required. All are recorded and stored in the course platform for later viewing.

What if I don’t have time?

To prepare for the exam, you’ll have to prioritize times that you can study and prepare. Here are some recommended study time-frames.

Self-paced requires ~3-5 hours a week.
Live cohort requires ~5–7 hours a week, including the session.

Do I have to read the handbook?

Yes, familarizing yourself with the recommended resources is highly recommended. I will help you break it down so it’s far less overwhelming and can be applied in different scenarios similar to the exam.

How does your program make studying easier?
Structure, community, memory techniques, sample questions, weekly check-ins, and guidance from someone who’s already mastered the material.

What if I don't pass the exam?

This can happen as results aren’t guaranteed. However, know that you’ll still have access to the materials for a full year, so you can continue preparing at your pace, and retake the exam to pass.

A Note From Coach Nao

When I studied for my CMP, I was planning my wedding, moving, and managing 200+ programs a year. Life was full, and the exam felt huge — but joining a weekend study group changed everything. It gave me structure, support, and the spark I needed to keep going… and I’ve carried that feeling forward into this program.

If I could do it in the middle of all that, I promise you can do this too. And you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to guide you, steady your pace, and help you walk into your exam with calm confidence. You’re capable. You’re ready. And I’m cheering for you every step of the way.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Let’s get you across the finish line — calm, prepared, and confident.
